20-20 Housing "Co-operative" perverted by Nic Bliss into a secretive clique of harassers

Introduction

Unlike any of those currently involved in 20-20, I joined it at a time before it had any tenancies or policies, in 1985, as 12^th member. I thus helped to make 20-20 in a way that cannot be said of any others involved in the following. And I was uniquely on 20‑20 management for 5 years before becoming a tenant.

There developed a shortage of volunteers for the management, so it became wide open for deceitful ill-intentioned persons to take control.

Three years after I joined, Nic Bliss and his partner Lucy Bastin joined, and from then on 20-20 became increasingly secretised and with information and control centralised on Nic Bliss, in his flat and computer.

Nic Bliss decided to make a career of housing co-ops and so he became much more knowledgeable than anyone else. So members started assuming everything he said was expert truth. He noticed that other members were mindlessly believing whatever he said, even when it was untrue. This gave him a great power of deceit which he was at liberty to abuse.

He developed a pretence of being a nice honest decent person when behind the scenes he was actually a callously nasty barefaced lying harasser.

Harassment

He devised underhand schemes to harass other tenants. Some of this harassment is detailed in my book The Housing Corporation Scandal with additional points in my “Amended” Counterclaim paras 8-31, and especially para 16 (see links at left to “My book” and “County Court”).

Nic Bliss drove Mike Talbot into the grave with his lies and abuses and then moved into his victim’s flat 3/18 Park Rd (the best in the co-op). Then he started a new set of lies and abuses against the tenant below in flat 1/18.

Then in May 2005, he, Midge Miller, Julius Swift et al switched to a similar campaign of criminal harassment against myself, well aware that I was severely ill with untreated dental mercury poisoning.

I am a trusting person very far from given to paranoid interpretations. But two months later the facts had become clear of the malign motives underlying the deceits that Nic Bliss, Midge Miller and Julius Swift were deploying. I tried to challenge these lies and other abuses in the 20-20 committee but as you can hear for yourself, Nic Bliss, Midge Miller and the other members of the Nic Bliss clique all clammed up and refused to be recorded in any meaningful discussion. You can read my transcripts at the back of my book. You can hear on this site how Nic Bliss, Lucy Bastin, Lynn Mansell et al conspired to prevent the other members such as yourself from knowing what was going on in your co-op. Supposedly I, the secretary and longest-serving member, could not be trusted with any confidential matters that might be mentioned. So much for the professional “community-building” of charlatan Bliss.

What you are hearing there is the exact equivalent of as if Tony Blair had walked out of PM's Question Time refusing to answer any questions. Inexcusable evasion of due accountability to the other 20-20 members who own 20-20.

More corruption

As my book explains, the Nic Bliss / Lynn Mansell etc clique then went on to fundamentally pervert 20-20 into a totally secretised pseudo-co-op.

And BCHS was likewise corrupted by the personality cult of its "star" worker “Saint” Nic Bliss, so I got no help from there either.

I complained to the Housing Corporation (HC) but it too proved to be corrupt. The HC is in the business of promoting £Billion development deals, enthusing about how wonderfully friendly community-buildingy are housing associations and co-ops. This conflicts with its role of exposing how nasty they can be when controlled by crooks like Nic Bliss. So the HC just pretends it is regulating the co-ops, and they in turn pretend they are being regulated. Meanwhile harassed tenants just get persecuted even more.

I spent months struggling to write that book under conditions of both illness and harassment. I ordered six print copies and just then I received a court notice seeking my eviction. Their legal case consisted entirely of clearly false legal arguments and criminally perjurous false testimonies from Lynn Mansell and Jacqueline Rooker. So I decided to put aside distributing my book and let the court sort out the crooks instead.

Corrupt Legal System

Due to the abysmal crisis state of the legal aid system I was unable to get any legal aid (as detailed in Application for extension of time on “County Court” page). But I noticed that I had five (later six) solid defences and so with huge effort and time I sorted out how to run my defence myself. And the eviction was in breach of four clauses of the Regulatory Code/ Residents Charter.

The 20/20 clique misused the rent money of myself and yourself to employ a barrister. And yet not a single genuine fault was shown in any of my six separate defence arguments. Instead Judges Truman, MacDuff and McKenna deployed 35 cheap falsehoods, all 35 against me which has a chance probability of less than 1 in 3.4 Billion.

The abuses by those judges are now listed for trial by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg (see link “Euro-Court”). And the abuses by Lynn Mansell, Lucy Bastin, Midge Miller & Co. are also being referred there, as explained in the addendum to my ECtHR application.

Preparations are also being made for the liar judges to be put on trial before a jury, who will not be party to the masonic backscratching and so will find guilty. This will attract a lot of publicity and open up the whole can of worms of the improper eviction and the harassment crimes hiding behind it. The criminal trial of the harassment would be quite complicated but the trial of the liar judges will be very straightforward because all the proof already exists in the court documents.

There’s a lot more going on. All this information is being compiled into a cracking book to be published by Civitas. There is my ongoing counterclaim against the harassers. And in respect of that I have now sent letters to the Secretary of State for ‘Justice’ (see link to “UK legal system unfit for purpose”). If he fails to respond properly I will make an application to Strasbourg about that too.

Here below is a link to a pdf file of the book I had to write, called The Housing Corporation Scandal. I got six bound copies (standard paperback) printed in May-June 2006. But just when I received the copies I also got a court notice of a legal action seeking my eviction. So I decided to leave off distributing the book and leave it to the court to sort out the crooks.

Much of the book consists of exact copies of reports I sent to the Housing Corporation. So I cannot alter those even though some things are much better presented in later documents, and particularly the evidence of harassment (see "amended" counterclaim (paras 8-31, especially para 16) in County Court page).

I made tape recordings at two committee meetings (when I was Secretary) and later made further recordings of harassment by committee member Edward Cox. I should add that the bike you hear being vandalised is not a common-or-garden one but a 1963 Moulton with frame specially widened to take hub brakes etc etc, of a specification which no bike shop could sell you for even £3000.

The clique of crooks made a non-reply to these very pertinent questions. Indeed they went out of their way to be as minimal as possible in their disclosures in striking contrast to my own extensive information. Any proper court should draw the obvious suspicion that when one party is so open with information whereas the other solidly clams up, those who are less open almost certainly have all the unworthiness on their own side.

Euro-Court

The European Court of Human Rights is far less secretive and cliquey than the highly secretive county courts. Most applications to it get ruled inadmissible. The admissibility criteria are indeed very challenging. Normally one would have to have previously made a Judicial Review application under the HRA, but in this case (seeking compensation in respect of a judicial abuse) that cannot apply.

This ECtHR is a very different matter than the secretive corrupt county court. It is international with far fewer cases (so vastly more prominent) and the Russian and Turkish presidents will be pissing themselves on reading of what the uk’s “honourable” judges get up to.

When read with reference to the other court documents, this Statement of Facts demonstrates the 35 cheap lies that were deployed by the liar judges Truman, MacDuff and McKenna. The proof of their criminality does not depend on trusting my word but instead rests sufficiently in the pre-existing documents and the court transcripts. Please note that the first of the falsehoods is somewhat more technical than the rest. But anyone with basic familiarity with the relation of the HRA to eviction cases cannot fail to see the deceit involved there. It certainly won’t be lost on the ECtHR.

Addendum to my ECtHR Application pdf

This addendum shows how the illegitimately secret procedures of the “20/20” crooks Lynn Mansell. Lucy Bastin, Midge Miller etc were also in violation of the ECHR charter, and that they were acting effectively as a public authority and therefore required to comply with it.

Another application to the ECtHR is also pending (re which I will send more info to worthy ears only). This new application brings the actual harassment into the remit of the international ECtHR.

UK legal system unfit for purpose

This document shows that the UK civil "justice" system is in reality a corrupt scam. I can't rule out the possibility that there are some uk judges who aren't crooks but from my own experience it looks very conceivable that they all are.

"But we were only obeying our lawyers' orders!"

In the case of Nic Bliss, Midge Miller and Julius Swift, I know from direct knowledge that these three are callous barefaced liar crooks. In the case of those so-superior judges, well they could plead a defence that they are the utterest of innocent prats but somehow I don’t see that happening.

In respect of Lynn Mansell, one might charitably suggest that perhaps she is just a fool who deludes herself that she is acting properly when not. If so we have to have the remarkable situation that an RSL has an idiot for a chairman. A less charitable interpretation does seem much more likely. At best she must be a moral imbecile, akin to those who went along with Hitler in condoning abuses "because the lawyers said it was ok".

In respect of Lucy Bastin, a plea of idiocy or gullibility is less credible. She is a lecturer in some rather complex computational fields that are pretty incomprehensible to myself, and even has her name on a patent. In fact she’s probably smarter than most professors. So it seems hardly credible that she could have unknowingly failed to challenge any of the slimey steps towards the fundamental perversion of 20-20 into a secretive totally unaccountable clique. I can only guess that Lucy Bastin could have been all the more under the deluding spell of the conman Nic Bliss due to being his partner for many years.

BCHS

I have already detailed the corruption of BCHS in various parts of my book. But subsequent to writing the book I learned from three other sources of serious malfunctioning of BCHS.

Firstly, while discussing with the housing solicitor Julian Boyle at the Saltley Law Centre, he recalled how odd it was that BCHS officer Sheryl Blake had seemed to be peculiarly keen to get another 20-20 tenant evicted, whereas normally housing officers are disinterested about evictions. That same Sheryl Blake was significantly involved in my own case, and very uncommendably so, as detailed in my book.

Secondly, when I talked with Ladywood HLB members, they told me how they had had bad experience with BCHS involvement in the stock transfer proposals process.

Thirdly, my acquaintance of 30-years Howard Boyd explained how a charity he had been involved in had had some “assistance” from Jon Stevens and BCHS. As a result of that “assistance” the charity and its directors had been driven to the verge of bankruptcy.

What you need to do now!

Firstly, be wary of who you talk to in 2020 or BCHS. Your enemies are very cunning at pretending to be your friends. They do helpful things in order to fool you into trusting them with bigger things. There may be others who are not intending to be harmful but who are still deluded that the clique consists of good honest people and so they will betray your name to your enemies. If you aren’t 200 percent sure of a person don’t talk to them about this yet. Just contact me instead and we will work out how to sort the sheep from the goats. Among the secretive clique I can for now confirm at least the following. Nic Bliss, Midge Miller, Julius Swift, Lynn Mansell, Lucy Bastin, Jacqui Rooker. And Eamonn and Stephanie Williams and Brian Duffy are at least sheepish associates of the rest of the clique.

Beware of all the staff of BCHS too (till we have established otherwise).

The first thing you should do is to contact myself in confidentiality and tell me your own contact details. We can then discuss getting a process together to challenge the crooks in 20-20 and end their reign of terror and deceit before can they turn on you. In due course they are damned anyway as the truth is not going to go away. Instead it will just get worse for them!
